Business DatasetsThe following datasets are available. Employee Satisfaction SurveyThe medical sales industry is highly competitive with high levels of staff turnover. This means that, to attract the best people, companies must be sure that the pay and conditions they offer are competitive. Since 2001, Pharmaceutical Field have commissioned the Royal Statistical Society Centre for Statistical Education to investigate the remuneration, motivation, satisfaction, perception and recruitment of the sales force. Analysis of the data provides a benchmark for the industry and enables individual companies to investigate how they compare to their competitors. It is hoped that the data collected will help develop the working environment for the sales force. Fast Food – Who can do without It?The trend towards healthier eating has caused some fast food giants to revise their menus, offering vegetarian meals, salads and other healthy options. With the market in a state of change the need for up-to-date market research is increasing. As the market leaders sense a fall in their popularity, they are keen to monitor and respond to trends in customer behaviour. Graduate SurveyYear by year, newspapers report increasing levels of debt amongst new graduates. Often these reports are based on figures released by one of the high street banks, Barclays, who carry out an annual survey of graduates by collecting information on debt, graduate employment and attitudes to banking. Here we look at new graduates who were either in employment or seeking employment to find out about how much debt they have one or two years after graduation, and their income and experience of finding employment in the first year or two after graduation. How does Store Lighting affect Purchases? The data in this study come from an investigation, carried out on behalf of a large supermarket, to see whether lighting levels in the aisles affected shoppers’ behaviour. The objectives were to investigate whether lighting levels affected the extent to which shoppers examined, handled and selected items on the shelves, and how long they spent in the aisles. |
